Pop Up Water & Prayer Booth

It's been one heck of a spring / summer, hasn't it? COVID has grinded the world to a halt -or at least a very different existence. One bright spot? We're all spending more time outdoors enjoying God's beauty of nature. The GIFA ladies wanted to provide a simple gesture of love and provide a pop up water station with a bonus - FREE PRAYERS!

Let's be honest. It's been a rough couple of months. People are feeling worried, stressed out, anxious about jobs, their future, their children's future - you name it. The GIFA gals wanted to get out and show a small act of kindness by providing some water on the Broadneck Trail where the (typically working but now turned off) water fountain is. And if we could meet and chat with some people and pray with / for them - BONUS!

We wanted people to know that there are others who do not know you that love you. Who want the best for you. Who care you are alive and sharing your one-of-a-kind spirit and energy with the world. Who want to pray with you and for you. We are inspired by God's love for us as people and want to share that God's love is there for you.

We were inspired that several passerbyers took us up on the offer to pray with them and that others put a prayer for us to pray over in our prayer basket. Rest assured, we will be praying for you all. Have faith - God is good and he listens to all of us, his children.

We had such a great time praying and sharing with all the wonderful people who interacted with us and hope to be back again, soon! We hope this experience and day brought people a little less worry, and a little more love. Pass it on!
